Robert E. Kaplan, MD
Co-Medical Director
Dr. Kaplan is the co-inventor of the StimSox™ device with James J. Czyrny, MD. He received his undergraduate degree from Brown University. Dr. Kaplan obtained his medical training at the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences where he is an Associate Clinical Professor of Pediatrics. Dr. Kaplan is a Board Certified Pediatrician and Board Certified Neurologist with Special Competence in Child Neurology.
Dr. Kaplan has published multiple articles in peer-reviewed publications in the areas of electrical stimulation, child neurology and pediatrics. Dr. Kaplan is a recipient of the Robert S. Berkson, M.D. Memorial Award. “This annual award recognizes outstanding performance in the art of medicine, as a volunteer member of the UB faculty, for excellence in patient care and teaching.”
