Peter G. Demakos, PE

President and Chief Executive Officer

Peter Demakos is an Engineering and Management Professional with extensive experience in the manufacturing sector. During his career he has owned and managed companies serving a variety of industries including energy management, mechanical contracting, heat transfer and specialty automotive parts. Prior to his position at StimMed, he was an energy consultant in Boston, Mass., President of Triton Mechanical a design-build HVAC contractor, Acquisition Manager for Service Experts, and President of Niagara Blower Company. He is also currently CEO of SSBrakes an aftermarket automotive parts manufacturing company.

Demakos received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Lafayette College, an MBA from the State University of New York at Buffalo and an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is a registered Professional Engineer (PE), a Certified Indoor Air Quality Professional (CIAQP), has presented numerous papers and conference presentations on evaporative heat transfer and liquid desiccant dehumidification systems, and is a Patent co-author.

His community involvement includes being a Commissioner and Vice-Chair of the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority, and a Director at Buffalo Renaissance Foundation, NYState Troopers Foundation, Amherst Police Foundation and Kissing Bridge Ski Resort.
